Public Notice - Council Procedure Bylaw Amendment

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 124 (3) of the Community Charter, that Council will consider adoption of Bylaw No. 2504, 2023, a bylaw to amend Council Procedure Bylaw No. 2446 at the December 12, 2023, Regular Council Meeting.

The proposed amendment will:

  • Change the start time for Council meetings from 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
  • Change the meeting location for Regular Council meetings to the Fernie Senior Citizens Drop-in Centre, 562 3rd Avenue, Fernie BC.
  • Amend the Notice of Motion procedure for meetings.
  • Amend the Agenda Listing for Council meetings.
