Fernie Aquatic Centre Closure

The Fernie Aquatic Centre will be closed from Monday, May 29^th to Thursday, June 1st for further repairs to the slide tower. 

The slide tower has been closed since 2021 due to structural issues with the slide tower that make it unsafe for use. 

The City is working with a contractor to do the necessary upgrades.  The work happening during this closure is the continued demolition of the structural steel.  

We look forward to the re-opening of the slide tower this summer!
