Winter Parking Regulations in Effect November 1

The City of Fernie would like to remind residents that winter parking regulations will be in effect beginning November 1 to help facilitate effective snow removal.
From November 1 to April 15, where there is no posted signage, the following alternate parking schedule will be enforced as per the City's Streets and Traffic Bylaw:
These restrictions allow City plows to clear the snow back to the boulevards on alternating days. Any vehicle parked contrary to the regulation or posted signage is subject to ticketing, or towing and vehicle impoundment.
The winter parking regulations for the historic downtown and other areas with signed winter parking restrictions also go into effect on November 1.
