Public Notice - Development Variance Permit No. 514

Pursuant to Section 499 of the Local Government Act, public notice is hereby given that Council for the City of Fernie will consider the issuance of Development Variance Permit No. DVP-514 at a Regular Meeting of Council on MONDAY, JANUARY 24, 2022, at 7:00 PM in Council Chambers at FERNIE CITY HALL located at 501 – 3rd Avenue, Fernie, BC.
To comply with physical distancing requirements, Council meetings are held by electronic means as authorized by Ministerial Order No. M192. In-person meeting attendance is unavailable at this time and the public is encouraged to view meetings via the livestream webinar or archived recordings.
Location: 1639 McDonald Avenue
Legal Description: Lot 3, District Lot 5455, Kootenay District, Plan EPP 89421
Purpose: The proposed variance will legalize the existing siting of a newly placed manufactured home located on the subject lot by varying Zoning Bylaw No. 1750 as follows:
Vary Section 184.108.40.206: Front Yard setback from 6.0 metres to 5.67 metres.
