Main Line Flushing

Starting today, our water department will begin the annual task of main line flushing.
This preventative work improves water quality by removing sediment deposits and helps to maintain adequate flow and pressure throughout our water distribution system.
Our water crews will be working over the next 4-5 weeks in the following neighbourhoods: Parkland, Ridgemont, Pine Ave., Castle Mountain, and the Annex.
Residents may briefly notice trace amounts of water discolouration as we complete flushing in their neighbourhood.
This mild turbidity is normal and can be resolved by running a cold tap for a few minutes until the water clears.
