City Adds Credit Card Payment Option

The City of Fernie is now accepting payments with select credit cards for certain City of Fernie bills and services.
Payments are processed through the secure OptionPay System (with applicable third-party fees) and can be made online or at City Hall using Visa and MasterCard.
The City of Fernie currently accepts payments for the following through OptionPay:
- Property taxes
- Utilities
- Accounts receivable (invoices)
- Tickets/fines
Note that all processing fees are charged by OptionPay and are not received by the municipality. View the OptionPay Tiered Rate table here.
Payments will take two to five business days to be received by the municipality, so please allow for this processing time while making your payment.
