Public Notice - Development Variance Permit No. 493

Pursuant to Section 499 of the Local Government Act, public notice is hereby given that Council for the City of Fernie will consider the issuance of Development Variance Permit No. DVP-493 at a Regular Meeting of Council on TUESDAY, MAY 25, 2021 at 7:00 PM. To comply with physical distancing requirements, Council meetings are held by electronic means as authorized by Ministerial Order No. M192. In person meeting attendance is unavailable at this time and the public is encouraged to view meetings via the livestream webinar or archived recordings.
LOCATION: 38 – Mt. Trinity Avenue
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Lot 53, District Lot 4588, Kootenay District, Plan 9989 PURPOSE: The purpose of this Development Variance Permit is to allow the applicant to build an entry way addition attached to the house on the subject lot by varying the City of Fernie Zoning Bylaw No. 1750 as follows: i. Section 126.96.36.199: Front Yard Setback, Principal Building (East Property Line) From: 7.5 metres To: 5.35 metres.
