Public Notice - Development Variance Permit No. 487

Pursuant to Section 499 of the Local Government Act, public notice is hereby given that Council for the City of Fernie will consider the issuance of Development Variance Permit No. DVP-482 at a Regular Meeting of Council on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 2021 at 7:00 PM in Council Chambers at FERNIE CITY HALL located at 501 – 3rd Avenue, Fernie, BC.

To comply with physical distancing requirements, Council meetings are held by electronic means as authorized by Ministerial Order No. M192. In person meeting attendance is unavailable at this time and the public is encouraged to view meetings via the livestream webinar or archived recordings.

LOCATION: 5 Elkview Crescent
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Lot 3, District Lot 4588, Kootenay District, Plan 6640
PURPOSE: To allow the applicant to construct an addition to their attached garage on the subject lot by varying the City of Fernie Zoning Bylaw No. 1750 as follows: i. Section Front Yard Setback, Principal Building (East Property Line) From: 7.5 metres To: 7.25 metres. ii. Section Side-Yard Setback, Principal Building (North Property Line) From: 3.66 metres To: 3.06 metres
