Notice of Public Hearing Bylaw No. 2410

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT a public hearing has been scheduled for MONDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 2021 at 7:00 PM at FERNIE CITY HALL located at 501 – 3rd Avenue, Fernie, BC so that Council may hear representations from persons who believe their interest in property is affected by a proposed amendment to Zoning Bylaw No. 1750.
To comply with physical distancing requirements, Council meetings are held by electronic means as authorized by Ministerial Order No. M192. In-person meeting attendance is unavailable for the public at this time and the public is encouraged to view meetings via the livestream webinar or archived recordings.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Lot 1, District Lot 4589, Kootenay District, Plan 12703
BYLAW: Zoning Bylaw No. 1750 Amendment Bylaw No. 230, Bylaw No. 2410, 2020
PURPOSE: To text amend Zoning Bylaw No. 1750 to add the R5R – Multi Family Residential Rental zone, including a definition for Residential Rental Tenure. AND to rezone 90 Castle Mountain Road from CD1 – Comprehensive Development One (RA1 – Resort Accommodation One Subzone) to R-5R – Multi-Family Residential Rental
