Notice of Public Hearing Bylaw 2423

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT a public hearing has been scheduled for MONDAY, MARCH 22, 2021 at 7:00 PM at FERNIE CITY HALL located at 501 – 3 rd Avenue, Fernie, BC so that Council may hear representations from persons who believe their interest in property is affected by a proposed amendment to Zoning Bylaw No. 1750.
To comply with physical distancing requirements, Council meetings are held by electronic means as authorized by Ministerial Order No. M192. In-person meeting attendance is unavailable for the public at this time and the public is encouraged to view meetings via the livestream webinar or archived recordings.
LOCATION: 1102 – 11th Avenue
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Lot 10, Block 93, District Lot 4588, Kootenay District, Plan 902 BYLAW: Zoning Bylaw No. 1750 Amendment Bylaw No. 237, Bylaw No. 2423, 2021 PURPOSE: The applicant wishes to rezone the property from R1 – Single Family Residential to R1B – Single Detached Plus Residential. This would give the applicant the option to build a secondary detached dwelling unit.
PROVIDE YOUR COMMENTS: This Notice is published in accordance with Section 467 of the Local Government Act.
