Public Notice - Amendments to Business Licensing and Regulation Bylaw

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 59 of the Community Charter, that at the Regular Meeting of Council to be held at 7:00 PM on November 23rd, 2020 Council will consider amendments to Business Licensing and Regulation Bylaw No. 2028.

The proposed amendments will incorporate a Self-Inspection Checklist that Short-Term Rental business license applicants must complete and conform to prior to applying for their license. The proposed amendments will also specify that unless the Short-Term Rental is the entire dwelling unit, permanent cooking facilities are not permitted in secondary suites and secondary dwelling units.

Written submissions must be received no later than 4:00 PM November 23rd, 2020 in order to ensure their availability to Council at the meeting.
