The City of Fernie is looking for an experienced Journeyman (Heavy Duty Mechanic) to work at the City Operations Yard. The successful candidate must possess an Interprovincial Heavy-Duty Mechanic or Commercial Transport Mechanic ticket with 2 years’ experience; a valid B.C. Driver’s License, minimum Class 3 with air brakes endorsement; be knowledgeable in the Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program; and be skilled in the use and care of tools and equipment used in the trade.
