Development Variance Permit No. 437 - 1679 McDonald Avenue
Pursuant to Section 499 of the Local Government Act, public notice is hereby given that Council for the City of Fernie will consider Development Variance Permit No. 437 at the regular meeting to be held on Monday, February 25, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, City Hall, 501-3rd Avenue, Fernie BC.
Location: 1679 McDonald Avenue
Legal Description: Lot A, District Lot 5455, Kootenay District, Plan NEP64826
Purpose: As a condition of subdivision for 1679 McDonald Avenue, the applicant proposes the following variances to the City of Fernie Zoning Bylaw No. 1750, Section 188.8.131.52 to legalize the siting of an accessory building (garage) and a mobile home:
- Siting of Existing Accessory Building:
- vary side-yard setback from: 10% of the Front Parcel Line (5.93 m) to 1.704 m.
- Siting of Existing Mobile Home:
- vary front-yard setback from 6.0 m to 2.087m.
All persons will be given an opportunity to be heard and to present written submissions on this matter. A copy of the City of Fernie Zoning Bylaw No. 1750, Development Variance Permit and other relevant documents may be viewed at City Hall, 501 - 3rd Avenue, Fernie, BC during normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. from February 14, 2019 to February 25, 2019 (excluding weekends and statutory holidays).
