Water Main Repair

Residents may experience temporary changes in water pressure, from June 15 – June 23, while crews initiate a repair on the City’s water distribution system. Residents in Ridgemont, Castle Mountain and the higher reaches of West Fernie may experience a reduction in water pressure, whereas residents in remaining neighbourhoods may experience an increase in water pressure.
As the repair requires redirecting water flow throughout the distribution system, residents may experience temporary discolouration in the water due to turbidity in the water mains. If you notice discolouration, please run your taps to flush until discoloration subsides.
