Progress Report: 7th Street Redevelopment

Crews have been busy over the past month working on the redevelopment of 7th Street from the highway to 2nd Avenue.
The project is part of the City's annual public works and utilities projects.
At this point, the curb and sidewalk placement is nearly complete. Paving is scheduled to commence in the next week, with landscaping and remediation to follow when the paving is complete.
7th Street remains closed to traffic until the paving is complete, but the 3rd Ave and 6th Ave crossings are scheduled to be re-opened by July 23, 2017.
