Controlled Burn Program

CanWel Timber Ltd. will be conducting a controlled burn program to burn slash piles on their land holdings in the Ridgemont to Hosmer area for reforestation over the next few days.
Burning is controlled and will only be conducted as weather conditions permit. As a result, smoky conditions may linger in the area. Residents with health concerns who may be affected by smoky conditions are urged to avoid the area and reduce outdoor activities while the smoke dissipates.
