Southeast Fire Centre Urges Caution with Open Burning

Due to expected warm and dry weather conditions this week, the Southeast Fire Centre Information Bulletin issued March 29, 2016 urges residents to exercise caution while conducting any outdoor burning activities.  As the snow melts, highly flamable dried grass from last summer is expossed.  BC Wildfire reminds us that almost all wildfires at this time of year are caused by people and therefore are preventable.
