Proposed Boundary Extension North Brenners Road

At the January 12, 2015 Regular meeting Council gave staff direction to initiate a process to extend the municipal boundary to include the property that forms a portion of the area designated UE – Urban Expansion by Schedule D of the Elk Valley Official Community Plan situated north of Brenners Road on which the Fernie Ford Dealership is being developed.
In addition, Council requested staff begin a boundary extension process to increase the supply of service commercial and light industrial land by extending the municipal boundary to include additional portions of the area designated UE – Urban Expansion by Schedule D of the Elk Valley Official Community Plan and situated north of Brenners Road subsequent to the owners completing two lot subdivisions of their respective properties (as necessary).
