Winter Parking

The City of Fernie issues the following notice to residents regarding the Winter Parking Regulations now in effect until April 15, 2015.
Section 9(6) of Streets and Traffic Bylaw No. 1400 imposes an Alternate Parking Schedule to ensure safe and efficient snow plowing and emergency vehicle access. During plowing operations any vehicle parked contrary to the regulation or posted signage, is subject to towing, vehicle impoundment & applicable fees. Your assistance in allowing Public Works crews to safely and efficiently carry out snow removal operations is greatly appreciated!
