Notice of Permissive Tax Exemptions

Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Sections 224 and 227 of the Community Charter, the Corporation of the City of Fernie intends to provide exemption from municipal property taxes for a period of two years (2014 and 2015 taxation years) for the properties listed in the notice below.

Council will consider the adoption of “Permissive Tax Exemption Bylaw” No. 2259 at its regular meeting at on Monday, August 11, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, at City Hall, 501-3rd Avenue.
