Notice of Public Hearing - Bylaw No. 2462

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT a public hearing has been scheduled for MONDAY, APRIL 11, 2022 at 7:00 PM at FERNIE CITY HALL located at 501 – 3rd Avenue, Fernie, BC so that Council may hear representations from persons who believe their interest in property is affected by a proposed amendment to Zoning Bylaw No. 1750.

Public Hearings and Regular Council meetings are available for all members of the public to attend electronically via a Zoom webinar link posted to the City of Fernie website prior to each meeting. Public Hearings and Council Meetings can also be viewed via a Facebook live stream from the City of Fernie Facebook page. If a member of the public is not able to attend electronically, a specified place is open to attend, watch, and hear Council proceedings. Location: City Wide (Official Community Plan Map Amendment: Schedule Q: Multi-Family Development Permit Areas)

Bylaw: Bylaw 2462, cited as Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 2231, Amendment Bylaw No. 16, Bylaw No. 2462, 2022

Purpose: A map amendment to update Schedule Q, the Multi-Family Development Permit Area, which is attached to and forming the Official Community Plan to accurately reflect Multi-Family Land-use areas.
