Fernie Appoints Chief Election Officer

Mr. Allen comes to the position with a depth of experience and has provided the service to the City in each of the 2014 and 2018 Municipal elections. Mr. Allen’s takes on the role effective today, July 7, 2022 and will have an office within City Hall to support the election commencing August 2, 2022.
Along with this appointment Council for the City of Fernie appointed Director of Corporate Administration Service Jeff McConnell, and Deputy Clerk Meredith Daniel, as Deputy Chief Election Officers.
