The City is looking for your input in the development of the City’s Liquid Waste Management Plan.
The purpose of a Liquid Waste Management Plan (LWMP) is to establish direction for the safe and environmentally sustainable collection, treatment and discharge of municipal waste waters (sewage). Informing the public about the process of developing a LWMP and gathering public input to identify problems, generate solutions and select the preferred solution are important steps in developing a LWMP. A questionnaire is one way the City of Fernie is gathering public input into the development of a Liquid Waste Management Plan (LWMP). The data from the questionnaire has now been collected and a report will be forth coming. Your views are important and there will be more opportunities to contribute to process when it is time to select the preferred solution.
