Notice of Public Hearing: February 13, 2018

Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 7:00PM in Council Chambers at Fernie City Hall, located at 501 – 3rd Avenue, Fernie BC so that Council may hear representations from persons who believe their interest in property is affected by a proposed amendment to Zoning Bylaw No. 1750:

BYLAW No. 2336: Zoning Bylaw No. 1750. Amendment No. 195, Bylaw No. 2336, 2017

PURPOSE:  Text amend Section 4.2.2.4.1.3b) of Zoning Bylaw No. 1750 to change the rear yard setback of secondary detached dwelling units from 6.0 metres (19.7 feet) to 1.5 metres (4.9 feet). This is a more feasible setback for development of secondary detached dwelling units in the Annex and Maintown neighbourhoods.
