2017 Annual Municipal Report

The Annual General Meeting for the City of Fernie to receive submissions and inquiries from the public respecting the 2017 Annual Municipal Report is on Monday, JULY 23, 2018 at 7:00pm in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 501 3rd Avenue, Fernie, BC.  The 2017 Annual Municipal Report is available for public inspection online or a hardcopy is available at City Hall. 

 The Annual Municipal Report contains the 2017 Audited Annual Financial Statements; a listing of the Permissive Tax Exemptions granted and the amount of property taxes that would have been imposed on the property if it were not exempt for 2017; a statement of objectives and measures for 2018 and 2019 and a progress report on the previous year’s objectives.

 Anyone wishing to provide their comments to Council but are unavailable to attend the meeting on July 23, 2018 is encouraged to submit their comments in writing by 12:00PM, MONDAY, JULY 23, 2018 by any of the following methods:

  • In Person: Drop off written submissions at the reception desk, City Hall   501–3rd Avenue;
  • By Fax: to (250) 423-3034;
  • By Mail:City of Fernie, Corporate Administration Services, PO Box 190, Fernie BC V0B 1M0; or
  • By Email: E-mail submissions should be sent to cityhall@fernie.ca
