Winter Parking Regulations in Effect

The City of Fernie would like to remind residents that the winter parking regulations are in effect from November 1^st to April 15^th in order to facilitate snow removal.  The following alternate parking schedule will be enforced during this time period:

NO PARKING permitted on the South or East Side of the Roadways (4am-4pm)	NO PARKING permitted on the North or West Side of the Roadways (4am-4pm)
Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday	Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays

Please note: in areas with posted signage the alternate parking schedule does not apply.  

These restrictions allow City plows to clear the snow back to the boulevards on alternating days.  Any vehicle parked contrary to the regulation or posted signage is subject to towing, vehicle impoundment and applicable fees.
