Notice of Public Hearing October 10, 2017

Notice is given that a Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 beginning at 7:00 pm in Council Chambers, City Hall, 501-3rd Avenue, Fernie BC so that Council may hear representations from the public regarding the following matters:
1) Bylaw No. 2323, Zoning Bylaw No. 1750, Amendment Bylaw No. 187, 2017
2) Bylaw No. 2324, Zoning Bylaw No. 1750, Amendment Bylaw No. 188, 2017 (related to Short-Term Rentals):
3)Bylaw No. 2325, Short-Term Rental Regulation Consequential Amendments Bylaw
Affecting the following bylaws:
(1) Bylaw No. 2028, Business Licencing and Regulation Bylaw
(2) Bylaw No. 1928, Snow and Ice Removal Bylaw
(3) Bylaw No. 2041, Municipal Ticket Information Bylaw
All persons who believe that their interest is affected by the above proposed bylaws shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity to be heard in person, by a representative, or by written submission on the matters contained within the bylaws at the Public Hearing on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 beginning at 7:00PM in Council Chambers, 501 – 3rd Avenue, Fernie, BC.

The deadline for written submissions is 4:00PM on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2017. All submissions must include your name and street address. All written submissions are public information pursuant to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
Following the close of the Public Hearing, no further submissions or comments from the public or interested persons can be accepted by members of Council.
The above Bylaws and other relevant documents may be viewed at City Hall, 501 – 3rd Avenue, Fernie, BC during normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. from September 28, 2017 to October 10, 2017 (excluding weekends and statutory holidays), or online at www.fernie.ca.
