North Maintown Redevelopment

As part of the annual roads and utilities works program, the City of Fernie will be redeveloping certain roads and utilities in the north part of Maintown.
To ensure public safety, the roads will be periodically closed to general traffic. Through traffic will be maintained for emergency vehicles where possible. Detour routes will be in place. Please obey posted construction signage and barricades.
Occasional changes and brief interruptions to water service, on-street parking, and curbside waste removal services during this time will be communicated by hand-delivered notice to directly-affected residences at least 48 hours in advance and through the city website.
