Festival & Event Funding

Applications are now being accepted through the Resort Municipality Initiative (RMI) Festival & Event Development Program for limited funding available to assist community organizations with the cost of developing and hosting festivals and events in 2017. Applicants need to be able to demonstrate financial need and that the proposed festival or event will have a positive impact on the Fernie and area tourism economy.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: November 30, 2016
The deadline for submission of completed applications for the 2017 fiscal year is November 30, 2016. Further application intakes may be offered later in 2017 if funding permits. Application, guidelines and further details available here.
