Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting for the City of Fernie to receive submissions and inquiries from the public respecting the 2015 Annual Municipal Report will be held on Monday, JUNE 27, 2016 at 7:00pm. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 501 3^rd Avenue, Fernie, BC.  The 2015 Annual Municipal Report is available for public inspection online or a hardcopy of the Annual Municipal Report may be reviewed at City Hall during regular office hours.

The Annual Municipal Report contains the 2015 Audited Annual Financial Statements; a listing of the Permissive Tax Exemptions granted and the amount of property taxes that would have been imposed on the property if it were not exempt for 2015; a statement of objectives and measures for 2016 and 2017 and a progress report on the previous year’s objectives.

Anyone wishing to provide their comments to Council but are unavailable to attend the meeting on June 27, 2016 is encouraged to submit their comments in writing by 5:00PM, MONDAY, JUNE 27, 2016 by any of the following methods:

• In Person: Drop off written submissions at the reception desk, City Hall   501–3^rd Avenue;
• By Fax: to (250) 423-3034;
• By Mail:City of Fernie, Corporate Administration Services, PO Box 190, Fernie BC V0B 1M0; or
• By Email: E-mail submissions should be sent to cityhall@fernie.ca
