Water & Sewer Main Renewals Project Awarded

The Sewer and Water Main Renewals project was awarded to B. Wickhorst Contracting 2001 Ltd. and construction will start soon.
Water and sewer main renewal works will take place throughout the community between August and October 2014. The project includes extending a sanitary main along Bossio Road utility Right-of-Way - phase I of the Ghostrider Diversion Project that will see a future extension of the sanitary main that connects to the Ghostrider Lift Station on Ktunaxa Road.
The project also addresses the City's Watersmart initiatives and inflow and infiltration problems by replacing existing galvanized water mains from the 1910 era that have reached the end of their life cycle.
