Press Release - Outdoor Fitness Equipment Dedication

The Senior Citizens Club of Fernie & District and the City of Fernie are pleased to announce they were successful in receiving a grant from the Government of Canada New Horizons for Seniors program. The grant for $22,529 provided funds to purchase and install outdoor gym equipment at the Fernie Aquatic Centre grounds, 250 Pine Avenue, Fernie, BC.
Project material donations gratefully acknowledged from Fernie Ready Mix and the Fernie Garden Centre.
The public is invited to attend the Dedication Ceremony on Monday, September 29, 2014 at 1pm at the Fernie Aquatic Centre grounds.
