National Western Region Mine Rescue Competition

The National Western Region Mine Rescue Competition (NWRMRC) - Thirteenth Biennial will be held in Fernie, British Columbia on September 8 and 9, 2017. 

Come out and catch the action as teams from across Western Canada and the Northwestern United States battle for top honours at the largest mine rescue competition in Canada. On top of two full days of competition, check out the new tradeshow.  Admission is free for all events. 

Friday, September 8

Underground Competition: Fernie Memorial Arena, 1073 Hwy 3, 8:00am – 4:00pm

Tradeshow: Community Centre, 901 6^th Ave, 10:00am – 4:00pm

Saturday, September 9

Surface Competition: Public Works Yard, 1492 Railway Ave., 7:00 am – 5:00 pm.
