Fire Smart Community Champion Workshop

Attend a free three-hour workshop hosted by Fernie Fire and Emergency Service and learn more about wildfire risks in the Elk Valley and solutions to reduce that risk significantly. Most important, see how participation as a Community Champion in the FireSmart Canada Community Recognition Program can make you, your home, and your neighbourhood safer - and easier for firefighters to protect from wildfire.

The Fire Smart Community Champion Workshop is on Thursday August 31 from 6:30-9:30pm at the Senior Citizen Drop In Centre located at 562 3rd Avenue.

No registration necessary. Refreshments will be provided.
