The City of Fernie is now accepting applications for a Skate Monitor/Ticket Taker (Arena). The Regular Arena Season starts in September and extends to March, dependent upon program attendance.
This is an unbenefitted position, with a wage rate as per the CUPE Collective Agreement. A probation period of 60 days is required. Persons applying for this position must be available to work evenings and weekends.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Skate Monitor/Ticket Taker is responsible to the Director of Leisure Services. Principle responsibilities include the taking of admission fees and/or tickets during public skating sessions and to ensure that the skating sessions are operated in a safe and enjoyable manner.
