Description:

The City of Fernie is now accepting applications for a Temporary Part Time Seasonal Maintenance staff person. This position is to assist with manpower dedicated to the outdoor rink and fill in for regular staff during the winter months.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This temporary position is responsible to the Parks and Facilities Manager.  Principle responsibilities include; maintenance and janitorial of the arena and other facilities for weekends and events as well as snow removal.  

 QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPLICANT:

 1.      Janitorial experience

2.      Current Basic First Aid Certificate would be an asset

3.      Ability to problem solve

4.      Ability to work with volunteers and assist user groups

5.      Positive attitude and good work ethic
