The Fernie Youth Action Network is looking for an individual to help with our youth drop in program. Duties include supervising and supporting group or individual activities and maintaining a safe inviting space for youth to be in. You will be working alongside the FYAN program coordinator.
This is a volunteer position with honorarium of $20 an hour. The program runs most Fridays from 3:30-6pm starting mid-December and ending in March 2019. The honorarium is paid monthly with total hours each month up to 27.5 hours.
Previous experience working with youth and organizing youth programs is an asset. The successful applicant will be required to submit an RCMP Vulnerable Sector Check.
