Description:

The City of Fernie invites applications from qualified persons for the full-time, permanent position of Building Maintenance Journeyman.  Reporting to the Parks & Facilities Manager, the Building Maintenance Journeyman is responsible for the maintenance of municipal buildings, recreational facilities, and parks and equipment.  Maintenance duties will include basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC system repair and maintenance as well as building controls.  The incumbent will also be responsible for general facility support, which includes snow removal and grounds maintenance work.
