The City of Fernie is currently accepting applications for a Summer Student position in the Engineering Department. This position is full time from early May to the end of August with potential for extension dependent on funding. The student will have the opportunity to develop a diverse set of GIS skills, acquire field survey skills and more. All applicants must be either a student returning to school in the fall of 2017 or be in a registered co-op education program with a focus on geographic information systems, engineering, municipal planning or a related discipline.
