Description:

The Corporation of the City of Fernie, hereafter referred to as the City, is requesting proposals from qualified food and beverage vendors for the lease and operation of the food concession facility at Fernie Memorial Arena, 1092 Highway 3, Fernie, B.C. A variety of snack and light meal options to include nutritional choices. 

 The successful vendor will enter into a Lease Agreement with the City for a four (4) year period.

Quotations marked “Fernie Memorial Arena Food Concession” will be received at the City of Fernie, City Hall, PO Box 190, 501-3rd Avenue, Fernie BC.  Please submit two (2) hard copies of your quotation.

Instructions, Terms and Conditions

Proposals in sealed envelopes clearly marked “RFP - Fernie Memorial Arena Food Concession”, will be received up to 4:00 p.m. Friday November 30, 2018, at the front counter of City Hall at 501 – 3rd Avenue, Fernie, BC V0B-1M0.
 
Responses received after the closing time and date will be returned unopened.
 
Faxed Proposals will NOT be accepted.
 
Two (2) completed copies of the proposal should be submitted.
 
All Proposals and subsequent information material received will not be returned and shall become the property of The Corporation of the City of Fernie and as such would be subject to disclosure provisions of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. The City reserves the right to make extra copies for utilization during the evaluation process only.
 
Any information acquired about the City by a Proponent during this process must not be disclosed unless authorized by the City, and this obligation will survive the termination of the Request for Proposal process.
 
Submission of a response by a Proponent and its subsequent receipt by the City does not represent a commitment on the part of the City to proceed further with any Proponent.
 
The City may after reviewing the proposals received, enter into discussions with one or more of the Proponents, without such discussions in any way creating a binding contract between the City and any such Proponent.
 
Prior to the closing time, Proponents must not establish contact with anyone inside the City organization regarding the Proposal, (other than the contact persons), without that representatives’ permission.
